How To Save Money On A Home Improvement Project
I thoroughly enjoy writing about Real Estate. In fact, I get up every morning looking forward to going to work! Today, the topic is a little different but nonetheless, very important.
My wife and I are in the middle of a relatively small home improvement project and like everyone else, we are interested in saving money while at the same time having good, reliable contractors do the work for us. I came across a writing that gave me some good guidance and as a result, I will pass it on to you today. It is titled: Pay A Contractor Less, by Tom Skinner.
The above article covers not only how to save money when upgrading or doing repairs to your property, but gives additional guidance on choosing a reputable contractor. Enjoy!

Your Contractor Thought for the Day: Make sure you receive no less than 3 estimates for your work and from only recommended contractors. Additionally, when it comes to important details, get it in writing. For example, if you are hiring painters and you live in an Association, you might want to add: All colors must comply with Association Guidelines and Rules.
